RealPlayer 18 is available for:
  • Computers with Operating system (OS) Windows 7 or higher (32 or 64 bits)
  • Computers with hardware:
    • CPU: i3 or faster
    • RAM: 4 GB
    • Hard disk: 1.5 GB available free space
  • Web browser:
    • Google Chrome current version, and two previous versions
    • Mozilla Firefox current version, and two previous versions
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or later
    • Edge (Windows 10 browser)

Real Player 15 - System Requirements for Windows PC systems

Minimum System Requirements:
  • Operating System (OS):
    1. Windows XP (with Service Pack 3 or later) or
    2. Windows Vista (with Service Pack 1 or later)
    3. Windows 7 (32 or 64 bits)
  • 1.4 GHz processor or better
  • RAM memory: 2 GB
  • 425 MB available disk space

Recommended System Requirements:
  • CD and DVD writer (for CD and DVD writing features)
  • DVD player and DVD playback software (for DVD playback)
  • 5 GB available disk space for temporary files (only for DVD burning), 10GB for AVCHD
  • Adobe Flash Player ActiveX, 9.0 or later

  • 700 MHz processor or equivalent
  • 256 MB of RAM memory
  • 60 MB available disk space
  • Super VGA (800 x 600, 65k color) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
  • 16-bit sound card and speakers

  • 1 GHz processor or greater (supports simultaneous record/playback features)
  • 512 MB of RAM memory, 1 GB with Vista or later
  • Full Duplex sound card and speakers

    Note: RealPlayer 10.5 is not supported on Windows NT, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (the 64-bit OS), or Microsoft Windows Vista. If you need to install RealPlayer on Windows NT, you will need to download RealPlayer 10 from the Real Legacy Software Archive.
  • 350MHz Intel Pentium II processor or equivalent
  • 64MB of RAM (128MB on Windows XP or later)
  • 52 MB available disk space
  • 28.8Kbps modem (audio only)
  • 65,000-color video display card set to display at 800x600 (video)
  • 16-bit sound card and speakers
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
    Note: Although some functions of the RealPlayer may work with Mozilla Firefox and Windows Server 2003 operating systems, neither is officially supported. Real Networks does not guarantee functionality with Mozilla Firefox or and Windows Server 2003 at this time.
Note: For playback of Windows Media and QuickTime, you must have Windows Media Player 6.0 or later and QuickTime 5.0 or later installed on your computer.
